A Felicitation and Certification Programme for MSME units from Thane industrial cluster was organized on March 14, 2019 at Industrial Association Hall, Thane West, Maharashtra 400604 under BEE-SIDBI-GEF-WB project.

The objective of the event was to acknowledge the participation by MSME units in Thane to implement energy efficiency measures under the project. 25 successful MSMEs have collectively contributed to over INR 1164 lakhs of investment in energy efficient technologies, leading to energy savings of almost 496 TOE/year, translating to monetary savings of INR 524 lakhs and emission reductions of 61,151 tons of CO2

MSMEs presented case studies on energy and resource efficient technologies relevant to Thane cluster and shared their views on improving energy efficiency and ease of technical support for implementation.
