A Felicitation and Certification Programme for MSME units from Ankleshwar industrial cluster was organized on March 01, 2019 at BEIL Hall, Ankleshwar, Gujarat 400604 under BEE-SIDBI-GEF-WB project.

The objective of the event was to acknowledge the participation by MSME units in Thane to implement energy efficiency measures under the project. 145 MSMEs have collectively contributed to over INR 1,580 lakhs of investment in energy efficient technologies, leading to energy savings of almost 1,551 TOE/year and results in lifetime emission reductions of 1,21,132 tons of CO2

MSMEs presented case studies on energy and resource efficient technologies relevant to Thane cluster and shared their views on improving energy efficiency and ease of technical support for implementation.
